Robin AA4RC Cutshaw show us in Friedrichshafen, during European D-STAR meeting, that he's working on a new DV-Dongle. This DV-DongleTx will have a transmitter for some mW, able to transmit D-STAR DV.
As you can see, new DV-DongleTx have an antenna and also an USB port. We haven't so much information, but we know it works actually in TX only. The development is on the way for full TX/RX.
We can imagine an easy "plug and play" feature for your laptop.
